When we received a call from the lovely and talented event stylist Cynthia Martin to collaborate on a unique and exciting project at The Fermenting Cellar, we couldn't have been more delighted. The incredibly influential Style Me Pretty blog had chosen Cynthia to take a Bohemian Romance themed Inspiration Board and turn it into reality... and this sweet little sweet table is what we came up with.

Inspired by the pomegranate reds and corals of the original storyboard and the exotic motifs running through all aspects of the design, we wanted the project to have an air of eclecticism, sensuality and intensity while still appearing rustic and nostalgic. The cake is adorned with luxurious hand sewn ribbon medallions and brooch details reminiscent of old world tenderness and charm as well as an evocative hand sculpted pomegranate crowning the piece which denotes mystery and opulence.
